Carl Krull

A series of drawings/paintings from 2006 made on sheets of paper, which due to their size made the work take place on the floor.

Common to all the drawings in the "Floor" series, are the use of the compositional technique of drawing with two hands simultaneously. The ambidextrous approach achieves a sense of unity within the artwork, which is similar to the symmetrical composition found in rorschach tests and the mandala.
